Who are we ? We are a group that gather once a week to participate in beer-league softball. Mostly our effort are pathetic and unworthy of reporting home about. But, we have fun and are one hell of a sexy group. Hopefully NBC won't get their panties in a twist over the name but if they do get wind of us...please send Jennifer or Courtney (preferably both) up here to check us out.
Game 3 is at St. Marguerite at 7:00 pm as long as it doesn't rain. As usual, I'll be bringing the beer and I'll add some Mike's hard lemonaide !

Well, we suffered another lose but at least they were a fun team to play. Thanks to Tammy and Kristi for coming out on such short notice and helping us lose. Don't take that the wrong way, we'd have probably lost anyway. Jayson and Shauna also came out to play and have decided to join us as full time players !! Welcome aboard !
The score was 15 - 8 in the end.

The game started off crappy when first we discovered there were no bases for the game and then realized that we were playing the team unofficially known as "not these guys again" . It seems that when we play these guys we are error prone and shitty. More so than usual that is. It's as if we are morally defeated as soon as we realize who we are playing and don't even try. I'm going to check the schedule and see when we play them again, because we will, so I can warn people in advance. Then we'll have to fire up the hype machine and get everyone prepared to kick some ass the next time we meet.
The score was something along the lines of 22 - 6. Without Char's presence we were unable to keep score, or probably just didn't care enough to...

Well, the forecast was off but the Smell Cats were on. We won our first game 24 - 10. Way to go Cats !
I know a lot of it had to do with the awesome pitching but I can't take all of the credit. It turns out that we may have some talent this year with the new guys. Dave wasn't bad either once the old joints warmed up a bit.
I narrowly escaped a softball to the groin, Rich escaped one to the head and both Heidi and Karen got roughed up playing second. I think Heidi was groped when he crashed into her judging from the smile on her face. Karen however wasn't as lucky.
Later in the evening the sun came out, the beer was cold and we won. What more could you ask for ? Click on the picture to see more...
