Game 11 June 28th - Final regular game

Game 11 is at St. Marguerite School @ 4700 Richard Road S.W.

This is it folks, the final game of the regular season and then we are into the playoffs next week. Just a reminder that our first play off game is on Wednesday August 3rd.

It looks like everyone but Pat is going to be there this week.

Confirmed players are :

Blaine, Alek, Doug, Rich, Jayson, Shauna, Heidi, Steve, Super Dave, Nadine, Karen, & Scott. Char's coming at some point to cheer.

See you there !

Game 10 Review : 25 - 4 victory !

What a great game - the whole gang showed up, we had girls kissing, nipple rubbing AND we won the game with a score of 25 - 4. Ok, so there were no actual girls kissing and the only nipples that got rubbed were mine...but hey, we still kicked ass.

It was nice to have all of the originals show up for the game and a good time was had by all. It almost felt like a reunion. We'd played, and beaten, these guys before and they were a good, fun group.

After the game most of us headed down to Dave's St. George & Dragon Pub for more beer, wings and some mini-burgers.

Good job Cats, let's keep it up for the next game.

Game 10: July 21st

Game 10 is at EP Scarlett this week.

We have a full roster with all of the regulars which I think is a first for this season. I'll have to ensure we have a full cooler with all the favorites.

Our confirmed players are :

Blaine, Alek, Heidi, Super Dave, Nadine, Jayson, Shauna, Steve, Karen, Scott, Doug, Rich, Pat and our official score keeper: Char.

Let's try and win this one, have some fun and more importantly let's plan to go for beer and wings afterwards.

Game 9 Review: Double ouch.

It seemed like a good idea at the time - we had a rained out game to make up against Team 6 so why not play 2 - 4 inning games ?

Well, a double header turned into a double spanking with scores of 10-3 and 12-2. Neither game was in our favor.

I'm not sure what was more annoying, the mosquitoes or the short stop who liked to show off. The salt in the wound was his behind the back catch. I though Karen was going to give him a flying scissor kick to the head and she may well have tried had he not been 6' 2 ( that's just a long way up to kick )

Ah well, they were a fun team, they had some skill and they were kind enough to lend us a catcher every inning.

Not only could I not catch or throw the ball, but apparently I didn't check to be sure my camera was set to auto so the pictures kinda suck too. Ug.

Don't forget there is no game next week because of Stampede Week. So, have fun next week and don't do anything I wouldn't, but if you do - take pictures.

See you in 2 weeks !
