Smelly Cats unite ! (again )

After repeated calls, emails and faxes with no reply from Ski & Fun, we jumped shipped and joined another league - The Calgary Sport and Social Club. Thanks Nadine for finding this one ! They look very well organized, have a website, post all thier schedules online and even have a blog, although I highly doubt it is as fun as ours :) . They offer a spares list which which may also come in handy if we need to scramble for girls again.

As usual I will be the captain this year and Nadine will be the lovely co-captain. Really all this means is that we will gather all the needed information, send out schedules and make sure there is beer. It also means that we retain the right to mock anyone with less skill than me, which is pretty hard to imagine, and we may banish you from the team for your lack of skills unless you are willing to make up for it by buying beer and/or offering up sexual favors.

All YOU have to do is show up, play hard and have lots of fun. If you are unable to have fun, this may not be the team for you. ;)

Although I don't have any official information, thier calendar shows that the 2007 Slo-Pitch season starts on April 22nd so start oiling that glove and dig out your bats. There is a captains meeting on April 16/17 so when that is done, I'll send out more info.
