Game 8 Review : Close but no cigar

We started off really strong having 2 innings with 7 run maximums - a new accomplishment for the Cats !

But alas, it was not enough and we ended up eating a 26-22 loss served up hot by "Hammer and Snatch".

We had lots of fun but I don't remember anything special about the game last week aside from Ashleigh losing her beer money as she ran the bases.

Hopefully the pictures will tell a better tale than me.

Playoffs here we come !

Game 7 Review : Rained out !

Game 6 Review : Another game, another win!

Ok, game 6 was more than 3 weeks ago now and I really don't remember much of this game so what I do remember will be totally embellished.

First off, we played an excellent game and had shit loads of fun. On top of it all we managed to pull off the win with a score of 22-16. ( At least that's what I think it was.)

Jayson on the other hand was another story. On his first up to bat he hits a beautiful ball deep into right field and with the grace of a cheetah chasing its prey he glided from base to base rounding 3rd with ease - and this is where it all went wrong. Half way down the home stretch his legs just seized up and the graceful stride quickly became a gravely slide that left Jayson laying about 4 feet from home plate. Luckily he was able to pick himself up, dust of what was left of his pride and limp into home to score.

The home stretch was not good for Jayson this day - later in the game he decides to push it and crossed the commitment line with no where to go. It was so obvious that we called him out to which he yelled at us "you guys suck" so loudly that I think Jackson may have even moved.

Another notable was that Ashleigh brought a big tub of Jube Jubes - which is the best way to start any game. Totally worth mentioning !!
